The following are excerpts from ``The Korean Martial Art of Self Defense- Hap Ki Do"

  1. Attacker grabs your left wrist with his [Knee to the head] right hand.
  2. Place your right hand (fingers over) on his right hand while making a circular motion inside out with your left hand.
  3. This will allow you to grab his right wrist fingers over, with your left hand.
  4. Swing your left arm under his right shoulder. and Place your right hand on the back of his neck
  5. Immediately lean tilting his arm to a vertical position
  6. When attacker's arm is in a vertical position, you can maintain pressure by squeezing towards your body leaning him forward
  7. Square your hips towards his leaning head and deliver a strike with your knee to his face
  8. Apply pressure on attacker's wrist by pushing his right palm towards his shoulder. (See Pal-Kum-Chi.)
  9. Continue leaning until the attacker and your left knee are on the ground.
  10. You can maintain pressure for control of the attacker.
